Power over Ethernet standard IEEE 802.3af

The T1500G-10PS includes 8 IEEE 802.3af PoE ports with a total PoE power of 53W to power any 802.3af compatible device. It is an efficient and cost-effective option for working with wireless access points, surveillance cameras, IP phones and other PoE-compatible devices without the need for cables or power lines. Compact and flexible, the T1500G-10PS is ideal for the flexibility offered by PoE technology to deploy wireless access points or IP camera networks for projects or small businesses.

Advanced QoS Features

To integrate voice, data and video into a network, the switch applies efficient QoS policies. The administrator can decide traffic priority based on a variety of media, including port priority, 802.1P priority, and DSCP priority, to ensure that voice and video are always clean, smooth, and free from outages. In combination with the voice VLAN supported by the switch, the voice application will operate with much smoother performance.

Plentiful Layer 2 Features

For further application of Layer 2 switches, the T1500G-10PS supports a full range of Layer 2 features, including 802.1Q VLAN tag, port isolation, Port Mirroring, STP/RSTP/MSTP, Link aggregation control protocol and 802.3x flow control function. In addition, the switches provide advanced features for network maintenance, such as Loop Back detection, cable diagnostics and IGMP Snooping. IGMP Snooping ensures that the switch intelligently sends multicast transmission only to subscribed devices while IGMP limiting and filtering restricts each device at the port level to prevent unauthorized multicast access.

Management Functionalities at the Enterprise Level

The T1500G-10PS is easy to use and manage. It supports several user-friendly management features, such as an intuitive Web Graphical User Interface (GUI) or the industry standard for Command Line Interface (CLI), SNMP (v1/2/3) and RMON support that allows the switch to be probed for information and send out captures of abnormal events.
