The new PeakTech 1040 is a compact TrueRMS multimeter in a rugged housing. Despite its small size, it offers all important measurement functions, including measurements of DC and AC voltage up to 600 V, DC and AC current up to 10 A, resistance measurements, continuity testing, diode testing, and practical battery testing for 9V or 1.5V batteries. Manual range selection allows for quick response time, and measured values are easily readable on the display. User safety is ensured with overvoltage category III up to 600 V and a double-insulated housing. High-quality batteries and ceramic fuses are easily accessible for replacement through the compartment at the back of the device.
