This scalable open-platform test solution will allow you to validate bandwidth speed and monitor network performance by testing the quality of experience (QoE) of enterprise and residential networks. Pocket size, easy operation, accurate and fast testing of line speeds up to 1 Gigabit Ethernet.

The EX1's FPGA tester is a robust, battery-powered solution with extremely reliable, repeatable test measurements. It is ideal for completing the usual activation toolkit: optical power meter, fiber inspection probe (FIP), copper / DSL meter, to cover the validation of FTTx services or enterprise networks.

Enjoy an untethered experience: technicians get longer battery life and escape the confines of harsh test environments by connecting to their Android or iOS devices using low power Bluetooth® technology.

•     No display required. Via Bluetooth, you can use a Smart device (phone or tablet, Android/iOS). Just perform the test and generate a report in pdf format that can be sent by email directly from your device.
•     High portability: uses Ookla's industry-leading speed test algorithm with Linux and FPGA inside, providing truly reliable metrics.
•     Multi-purpose: as mentioned above, it is capable of performing speed tests up to 1GigE. In addition, as a QoE monitoring unit, it is an active Service Assurance probe from layer 3 to 7 supporting features such as Ping, Traceroute, TWAMP protocol, IPTV validations..... It also performs start-up testing of Ethernet service activation (Y.1564).
