Application

Outdoor duct installation

The optical fiber cable contains tubes with 32 optical fibers each, filled with thixotropic compound for protection. It includes a central strength member made of FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic) or FRP with coating if necessary. The cable design is dry, with water blocking tape and yarns, and features rodent-protected glass yarns for peripheral strength reinforcement. Its outer sheath is black HDPE, UV proof, with one ripcord under the sheath for easy installation. Ideal for outdoor duct installation according to G.652D optical fiber standard.

Design

  • Loose tube: Central loose tube with 32 optical fibers, filled with thixotropic compound.
  • Rodent protection: Glass yarns peripheral strength member.
  • Outer sheath: Black HDPE, UV proof, 1 ripcord under sheath.
  • Cable strand: dry, with water blocking tape and yarns.
  • Stranded loose tubes (PBT) with black dummies if necessary.
  • Central strength member made of FRP or FRP with coating if necessary.
