Professional tool for longitudinally cutting the corrugated copper, Steel or aluminium sheath of optical fibre and other shielded cables. The versatile design allows for the longitudinal cutting of jackets or sheaths in general. The tool longitudinally cuts the polyethylene jacket and the shielding in one operation. 

• It can be used to prepare ends or intermediate cable segments give its capacity to carry out transversal and longitudinal cuts. 
• The tool can be adjusted to prepare cables with an 8 to 28,6 mm. exterior diameter. 
• The blade depth of the incision can also be adjusted in order to work with different types of shielding. 
• The conical cable support gives stability and easiness of movement to the longitudinal tool.
