Application CDS-2429
VT cables are very suitable for installation in ducts, as distribution cables in facades or inside buildings, avoiding the need to make transition splices as it is not necessary to change the cable to provide service to users in FTTH networks. They have rodent retardant protection which makes them useful in areas where rodents are present and a dielectric solution is needed. Please refer to the Installation Guide, available from our sales office.
Cable design
- Loose tube: thermoplastic material, containing optical fibres filled with a sealing compound.
- Longitudinal sealing: moisture absorbing elements (dry core).
- Dielectric reinforcement and armouring: glass yarns.
- Outer sheath: flame-retardant, flame-retardant, halogen-free thermoplastic.
