This tool is designed to make the slitting of the loose tubes with optical fibers inside. It is a high precision tool because the purpose for which it was designed is extremely delicate and critical. The tube diameter for which this calibrated is 3,7 mm. It is specially designed for slit 32 FO tubes in 512 FO cables.
NOTE: Although this tool is specifically calibrated for 3.7mm tubes, it can slit tubes from 3.2mm to 4.2mm
