The RANGER Neo 2 features a new 7” touch screen with excellent brightness and superior image sharpness that can also be used wearing gloves.

The hybrid operation of the RANGERNeo 2 allows the equipment to be fully operated using both the touch panel and the conventional keyboard.

RANGERNeo 2 features all RANGERNeo + functions (including all second-generation DVB standards) like IPTV input, Common Interface (CAM) for encrypted channels, HDMI interface and TS-ASI input/output.

In addition it adds the following functions:

  • T2-MI packet analysis. It can receive a T2-MI signal in the form of both ASI or IP formats, performing IP transport quality measurements, T2-MI packet analysis and PLP de-encapsulation.
  • dCSS LNBs. It stands for Digital Channel Stacking Switch LNB and they come to take multiuser single cable distribution systems one step further.
  • Extended IP functions.
  • Ethernet connectivity for remote control. Besides remote control the IP interface can be used to save or retrieve data from a PC, copy channel tables or installation information, dataloggers, copy transport stream files, screen shots, etc.
  • More internal memory. Up 7 GB for user data
  • Network Delay
  • GPS for coverage analysis
  • DAB/DAB+ digital radio
  • ... plus all the RANGER Neo 2 functions

Optical measurements and 3 GHz band extension can also be included as an option, thus converting the RANGERNeo 3 in an all-purpose field strength meter.

IPTV test and measurement with the RANGERNeo 2

The HD RANGER 2 can receive IPTV television programs and display them on screen along with other important information service... In this way, besides an RF field strength meter it is also an advanced IPTV tester.

In addition to the IPTV receiver, other tools can be also used, such as the Transport Stream Analyser, which shows all the information contained in the PSI/SI tables related to the Transport Stream decapsulated from the IP stream.
